Front Office Series
Whether in contact with patients, physicians or office staff, Front Office Staff play a pivotal role in every facility. This four course series solidifies administrative basics for those who play an important role in customer service. Reception, Scheduler, Registration and Medical Record Specialists.

Participants learn how to:
Enter notes to facilitate account follow up.
Identify who creates which notes and when.

Participants learn how to:
Gather the documentation needed to schedule a case.
Schedule the case in the computerized information system.
Document special requests to inform the materials managers of the special supplies and
instruments needed.
Manage the block times to ensure the operating room time is efficiently used.

Participants learn how to:
Greet patients and their family members.
Register a patient.
Collect the patient's portion of the estimated fee.
Notify the clinical staff of the patient's arrival.
Prepare for the next day.

Use "Comments" to manage outstanding accounts.
Collect outstanding balances.
Recommend accounts for write-off and obtain approval.
