Ariel's first peak at the courses....

My first week at The Rush Group was truly a learning experience. As Shannon has mentioned I went through the original PAC courses my first week on the job. Coming from a background of little to no experience with both the accounting and the healthcare industries made my first assignment quite nerve racking; even with my math background (I was in the actuarial field, where I worked on the consulting and the company side of things). However, this was a whole new ball game for me. My first peak at the course was a huge insight into the healthcare world. But,I actually I had to go through some of the courses a few times before I truly felt comfortable with the material. But once I did get comfortable it was like someone had turned on the light switch or at least turned up the dimmer switch because I was no longer in the dark. I wasn't quite a master of the healthcare field and all that goes on in it, but I was definitely on solid ground as far as my broad understanding of how financially things worked as well as how day to day operations effect the financials and thus the company.
